Trout Season Starts Saturday

Anglers across the Finger Lakes are gearing up for the start of trout season.

This Saturday kicks off the start of trout fishing season in New York. Trout can be fished for from October 16th to March 31st in the state; however, during that time it is limited to catch and release fishing.

Saturday is expected to be a warm 65 degrees with a chance of rain.
