State Police are investigating a fatal Monday crash in Chemung County.
According to police Floyd Wener of Pennsylvania was travelling south on Backer Rd in the Town of Catlin around 4:45p when he exited the roadway and struck a ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn. The 76-year-old was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Tompkins Corners Fire Department and Erway Ambulance Service.
