State Trooper Injured in Collision in Herkimer County

A State Trooper was involved in a collision with a passenger vehicle on Friday. The incident occurred on State Route 5 at Eatonville Road in the Town of Herkimer, Herkimer County.

A State Trooper and the driver of the passenger car were both transported to Wynn Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation by the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit.
