State Police are investigating the death of a 16-year-old girl in Cortland County. Troopers were called to a home on Route 41 in McGraw around 8:30 Saturday night for a report of an unresponsive teen. The girl was found unconscious in a bathroom, and CPR was already underway.

A responding Trooper and EMS crews continued life-saving efforts, but the girl was later pronounced dead at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is leading the case. An autopsy will determine the cause of death.
