State Police are increasing their patrols to combat drunk, impaired, and reckless driving this holiday weekend.

Troopers will be out in force with increased patrols and sobriety checkpoints. Labor Day typically brings in an increase in traffic on New York roadways. With the increase in traffic comes an increase in accidents, injuries, and fatalities.

The enforcement campaign runs now through Monday.
