The Great New York State Fair has rolled out a brand-new mobile app designed to make navigating the fairgrounds easier than ever. The app, now available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play, gives visitors a one-stop tool to buy tickets, plan their day, and explore everything the Fair has to offer.

Fair Director Julie LaFave said the goal is to make the Fair more convenient and enjoyable for everyone. “With all the incredible attractions, food, and entertainment we have to offer, this app will be an invaluable tool to help our visitors explore everything the Fair has to offer and create unforgettable memories,” LaFave said.

The app includes several features to help fairgoers get around and stay up to date:

  • Interactive GPS map to locate vendors, exhibits, restrooms, and attractions.
  • Searchable daily schedule of concerts, shows, and events with reminder options.
  • Food and vendor directory with search tools to find favorites by name or category.
  • Ticket details and discounts, including daily promotions.
  • Push notifications for weather updates, important announcements, and special events.

Officials say the app is part of the Fair’s commitment to modernize the visitor experience and keep up with the needs of the more than one million people who attend each year.

The 2025 Great New York State Fair runs today through Labor Day, Monday, September 1.
