Over 80% of voters say the cost of living in New York is a major problem.

That’s according to a Siena College Research Institute Poll which goes on to say that 27% believe it’s the most important issue that the state should be working on.

Crime, the influx of migrants, affordable housing, and access to affordable healthcare round out the top five issues for votes in the Empire State.

While Republicans are more concerned about migrants and crime than Democrats and Democrats are more concerned with the environment, both sides of the aisle agree that housing, healthcare, and the cost of living are major concerns.
