Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputy Killed in Two-Car Crash

An Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputy was killed in a two-car accident Wednesday morning.

The accident happened at the intersection of County Route 176 and Rowlee Road. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Cailee Campbell was responding to a call for assistance at 6:42 a.m. when she was involved in the accident.

Deputy Campbell was taken to Oswego Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the other car was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
