One Killed, Three Injured in Onondaga County Crash

State Police are continuing to investigate a two-car crash in Central New York Saturday afternoon that claimed the life of one person and injured several more.

The accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sweet and Broadfield roads in the town of Pompey in Onondaga County. Four people were taken to Upstate Hospital by ambulance. One of the four was pronounced dead and a second person is in critical condition. The other two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation by New York State Police Investigators and the Collision Reconstruction Unit. More information will be provided at a later time.
