One Dead, Four Injured in Syracuse Crash

One person is dead and four others are injured following a two-car crash Thursday night at the intersection of James Street and Wilson Street in Syracuse.

Police responded to the scene around 8:46 p.m. and found two heavily damaged vehicles and multiple victims. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to WSYR-TV in Syracuse, the four injured individuals were transported to Upstate University Hospital, where they are currently listed in critical but stable condition, according to Syracuse police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
