NYC Man Dead After Being Struck by Car in Onondaga County

A Brooklyn man is dead after being struck by a car Saturday night in Clay.

According to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, Basir Rashad died from injuries sustained Saturday when he was struck by a car just before 7:00p while crossing the street on Morgan Road in front of the Amazon Warehouse.

Rashad was taken to Upstate in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Morgan Rd was closed for several hours following the incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
