No Injuries After Shots Fired Sunday in Salina, One in Custody

A handgun and magazine, secured with zip ties inside a box, were recovered following a shots fired incident in Salina, New York.

Update: Bior Ajak has been arrested for shooting at two juveniles on Noble Ave Sunday night.

The 31-year-old Syracuse man has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Criminal Use of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Reckless Endangerment, and Criminal Possession of a Firearm, all felonies. He was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Disguised Gun and Menacing.

Ajak is currently incarcerated at the Onondaga County Justice Center.

No one was injured after gunshots were heard in the Town of Salina.

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office reports responding to Noble Ave in the town at around 7:45p on Sunday night where, following a brief foot pursuit, a suspect was taken into custody. A handgun was recovered

The investigation is ongoing.
