State Police investigated a collision involving a school bus in Onondaga County on Monday morning.

A preliminary investigation revealed the accident happened in front of Orchard Estates apartments on Roxboro Circle in the town of Salina at around 8:30 a.m. Troopers say a car driven by 25-year-old Flynn Hughes-Trombley, of Syracuse, was backing up when it struck a Liverpool school bus driven by Robert Miller, of Boonville.

In addition to Miller, on board the bus was an aide and two children, ages two and four. No injuries were reported.

Hughes-Trombley was ticketed for unsafe backing.
