A Monroe County man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Interstate 490 near the Frederick Douglass – Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge in the city of Rochester.
A State Police investigation revealed a 2024 Chappy Yamaha operated by 22-year-old Joseph Gividen, of Fairport, was traveling west on Interstate 490 when he went off the road, struck a guide rail, and was ejected. Gividen was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
State Police are continuing its investigation.
