New York’s Lieutenant Governor is requesting President Joe Biden not seek re-election. Antonio Delgado released the following statement on his X/Twitter account on Wednesday:

Delgado’s statement surprised many as Governor Kathy Hochul, who appointed him two years ago, has been one of President Biden’s most vocal supporters in urging him to stay in the race.
