Active Investigation Launched in Rochester Following Suspicious Death

An investigation in Rochester is underway following the police’s discovery of the body of a deceased man in his twenties at a home on Avenue D on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to a 911 call at a residence around 6:30 a.m. Nov. 16 and discovered the man with upper body trauma, according to Rochester police.

He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. The victim has not yet been identified and the investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with any information related to the investigation of the possible homicide is being asked to contact 911.
