Residents are invited to take part in a community-wide clean-up effort later this month in the Village of Weedsport.
Community Clean-Up Day is scheduled for Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. Volunteers will meet at the village lot on Furnace Street near CJ’s. Organizers say gloves and trash bags will be provided, making it easy for participants to pitch in and help freshen up the community ahead of the warmer months.
The event is being coordinated through the Village Office, which encourages residents to take part in the effort to keep Weedsport looking its best.
