Watkins Glen Student’s Artwork Selected for Rep. Langworthy Office

A Watkins Glen High School senior has earned recognition in the Congressional Art Award competition.

The district announced that senior Anjelica Kniazeva was selected as a runner-up in the annual competition for her artwork titled “Astonishing Adirondacks.” As part of the honor, Kniazeva’s artwork will be displayed in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman Nick Langworthy.

The district also recognized art teacher Dawn Coleman for her continued support of students and dedication to helping them achieve success through the school’s art program.

School officials praised Kniazeva’s accomplishment and said they are proud of the recognition she earned through the national competition.
