W-FL BOCES Students Can Now Accelerate Degrees Through Keuka College

Keuka College has finalized articulation agreements with the Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services that will allow area high school students to accelerate progress toward select bachelor’s degree programs.

Eligible students enrolled in W-FL BOCES’s two-year Graphic Media Production program at the Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center can earn up to six credits toward Keuka College’s Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art and Design or Visual Communication Design. The programs prepare students for careers in areas including fashion, industrial design, and digital media.

Students who complete the Criminal Justice program at either the Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center in Stanley or the Wayne Technical and Career Center can also receive up to 12 college credits toward Keuka College’s Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice, depending on their high school grade-point average.

Carol Lugg, associate vice president for institutional effectiveness at Keuka College, said the agreements reflect a shared commitment to expanding access to career-focused education opportunities across the region.

“With this partnership, students will be able to continue on a smooth trajectory from practical training to advanced liberal arts coursework and real-world experience through our annual Field Period internship program,” Lugg said.

Brittany Atkinson, principal at FLTCC, said the agreements provide students with a head start on continued education and workforce readiness in competitive career fields.

Additional information about transfer credits and articulation agreements is available through Keuka College’s Office of Records and Registration.
