Residents in one Wayne County village will soon have a chance to get rid of old electronics they no longer use.

Sodus will hold an electronic waste recycling event on June 6th for residents and property owners. The free collection will run from 9 a.m. until noon at the Village Barn on Gaylord Street. Officials say electronics, including televisions, will be accepted at no charge, although reasonable limits will apply.

Participants must provide proof of residency or property ownership.
