A Penn Yan woman was arrested following the investigation into a reported domestic incident in the village.

According to Penn Yan Police, 33-year-old Nichole Homkes is accused of striking another village resident in the face multiple times while in the presence of a child.  Homkes was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was released with an appearance ticket.

She is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
