On Wednesday, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lyons woman and a Newark woman following an investigation into a disturbance on Depew Street in the Town of Lyons.

Authorities arrested Desaray Marcano, 33, of Lyons, and Torie Martinez, 34, of Newark. Both individuals face charges of Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree.

The charges stem from an incident where Martinez allegedly showed up at a residence on Depew Avenue in Lyons to engage in an altercation.

Both Marcano and Martinez were transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing. They were subsequently released with appearance tickets and are scheduled to return to Lyons Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
