Fairport Woman Accused of Child Endangerment in Macedon

On Thursday, the Macedon Police Department arrested a Fairport woman following an investigation into an incident involving a minor.

Alexus Barts, 21, was taken into custody and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Conspiracy in the Fifth Degree. Authorities allege that Barts conspired with others in a manner that compromised the well-being of a child.

Following her arrest, Barts was transported to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment. She is expected to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
