The Yates County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for its Annual Community Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations that make a lasting impact in the community.
Nominations are due by May 20.
The awards highlight those who exemplify the spirit, pride, and commitment that help make Yates County a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
The Snow Award is presented to a business or organization that demonstrates exceptional dedication to community enrichment through volunteerism, leadership, collaboration, and engagement. The award is named in honor of former Chamber Director and Tourism Committee Chair Norman Snow.
The Seager Award recognizes an individual who brings a positive and uplifting spirit to the community through both their professional and personal life. The honor is named after former Chamber Executive Director Emily Seager.
Award recipients will be recognized at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner on June 10 at Climbing Bines Craft Ale Company. Lyons National Bank is the presenting sponsor of the event.
