A former Auburn Enlarged City School District Board of Education president has been arrested on a child pornography charge.
State Police say 70-year-old Charles Cator of Fleming was arrested Tuesday on one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child younger than 17, a Class D felony.
According to the State Police daily blotter entry for Tuesday, the alleged offense was reported Sept. 16, 2025. Officials did not immediately release additional details surrounding the arrest.
The Auburn Citizen reports Cator served on the Auburn school board from 2005 to 2011 and was board president from 2008 until 2011, when he lost a bid for a third term.
