Auburn Italian Heritage Festival Returns Saturday

Auburn’s Italian Heritage Festival returns this weekend.

The event, now in its second year, is a celebration of Italian culture. Presented by AT Walley & Co, it features live entertainment, food, drink, and a meatball eating contest.

The winner of the contest is awarded $500 to give to a charity of their choice.

The festival will take place on Saturday from 11:00a-9:00p at the State Street Plaza. The Diana Jacobs Band will play at 1:00p The meatball eating contest will begin at 2:30p, followed by the Uncle Louie Variety Show at 4:30p. 8Traxx will play at 6:00p.

The festival was originally scheduled for June; however, the event had to be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
