Update: Italian Heritage Festival Postponed Until September

Update: Due to predicted inclement weather on Saturday, organizers decided on Thursday to postpone Auburn’s Italian Heritage Festival until Saturday, September 14.

Auburn’s Italian Heritage Festival returns this weekend for its second year.

Presented by AT Walley & Co., the celebration of Italian culture features live entertainment, food, drink, and a meatball eating contest. The winner of the meatball eating contest will get to designate $500 to donate to a charity of their choice.

The festival will be held this Saturday, rain or shine at the State Street Plaza from 11:00a-9:00p.

The entertainment lineup for the event is as follows:

  • 1:00-2:30p – Uncle Louie Variety Show
  • 2:30p – Meatball Eating Contest
  • 3:00p – Music by The Dean’s List
  • 6:00p – Music by the Diana Jacobs Band
