Canandaigua Woman Arrested Following Protection Order Violation

On Friday, Robin Smith, 43, of Canandaigua, was arrested by Canandaigua Police on an arrest warrant for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.

According to police, the warrant was issued after Smith allegedly violated a stay-away order of protection by going to the protected party’s residence.

Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.

 

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
