Bath Man Arrested For Alleged Walgreens Larceny

On Saturday, officers with the Village of Bath Police Department responded to Walgreens on West Washington Street for a report of a larceny.

Following an investigation, it was determined that Stanley Mckee, age 70, of Bath, had allegedly entered the store unlawfully after previously being advised that he was trespassed from the location. Mckee is also accused of stealing beer from the business.

Mckee was located by police a short time later in possession of the stolen property and was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with one count of Burglary in the Third Degree, a Class D felony, and Petit Larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.

Mckee was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) arraignment, where he remains held.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
