Auburn is planning a day full of events to commemorate Memorial Day.

The events begin at 11:00a with the annual Memorial Day parade along Genesee St. Following the parade, at approximately 12:00p, a wreath laying ceremony will take place at Veterans’ Memorial Park. Before the ceremony, the Auburn Civic Band will play patriotic music.

From 12:00-2:00p, INFINITY will play at the Market St bandshell. The band covers hits from the 1970s and 80s. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs.

At 12:30p, TomatoFest will hold the annual Duck Derby at Market St Park.

Many businesses will also be open on May 25, allowing people to enjoy shopping, food, and beverages.
