Auburn Man Facing Felony Contempt Charges

An Auburn man is facing felony charges following a domestic incident at a local shopping plaza.

On May 15 at approximately 9 a.m., members of the Auburn Police Department responded to the Grant Avenue Plaza after receiving reports of a physical domestic dispute.

During the course of the investigation, officers determined that an individual involved had violated an active order of protection. As a result, Brandon Hausman was placed under arrest.

Hausman was charged with class D felony aggravated criminal contempt and class E felony aggravated family offense.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
