The Annual Owasco River Clean-up will return this Earth Day to the City of Auburn.

The Auburn Beautification Commission has begun organizing volunteers to participate in the April 22nd event. Volunteers will meet at the Mill Street Dam to gather supplies to clean litter and debris from the river’s banks.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves and rakes.

The clean-up runs from 10:00a-12:00 noon.

While registration is not required, the commission is asking large groups pre-register so they can have an appropriate amount of supplies available.

Registration can be done by contacting 585-414-4907 or emailing [email protected]

New for this year, city staff will offer a tour of the Mill Street Hydroelectric Facility. The tour begins at 9:30a.
