Unity House Holding Annual Awards Dinner in April

Unity House of Cayuga County is gearing up for its annual awards dinner next month.

Sheriff Brian Schenck will be the guest speaker, delivering remarks on empowering those on the path to recovery.

Two awards will be presented at dinner.

The Open Arms Award will be presented to Michael White of Marcellus High School for his work as  a mentor with Unity Employment Staff. Paul Dungey of Westminster Presbyterian Church will receive the Fred Atkins Community Service Award for his work in various county charities such as Meals on Wheels and Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

The dinner will take place April 24th at the Springside Inn.

If you’d like to attend in person, ticket information can be found on the group’s website. RSVPs are required by April 18th.
