Concertgoers enjoy a performance at AuroraFest, a local music festival in upstate New York.

Grab your best tie-dye, the village of Aurora will celebrate this weekend.

AuroraFest begins Saturday morning and continues through Sunday night.  There will be live music, food, a parade, and more events.

The theme of this year’s festival is “Grateful Dead or Alive,” inspired by the Dead & Company anniversary concert at Cornell University back in May.

According to the Citizen, members of the band stayed in Aurora this Spring as they prepared for the concert at Barton Hall that raised $2.5 million dollars for charity.
