Newark Hires Code Enforcement Clerk

The Village of Newark is pleased to announce the hiring Deborah Szarek for the position of Code Enforcement Clerk.

Deborah resides in Newark. She has lived here most of her life and is a graduate of Newark High School. In addition to her position with the Village, she works part-time at the Newark
Marshalls store. Deborah enjoys local restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and going on trips.

She wishes to thank Emily Howard, her former Drama teacher for encouraging her to pursue this position and she looks forward to learning more from everyone in the office.

Code Enforcement Officer Chaz Gambino stated, “Deborah has been a great addition to Code Department staff and we look forward to having her around for a long time.”

Mayor Jonathan Taylor added, “Deborah’s professionalism and customer service skills are an asset to the Village. She has mastered many of her duties already and we are happy that she has
joined the team.”
