Margaret-Mary Ameyaw, MD, board-certified internist and hospitalist, has been elected to be the Chief of Staff for the Geneva General Hospital Medical Staff through April 2027. As part of this appointment, Dr. Ameyaw will sit on the Board of Directors for UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health.

Dr. Ameyaw is the Director of the Hospital Medicine Department and, most recently, served as Associate Chief of Medical Staff for Geneva General Hospital. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She attended medical school at the University of Ghana Medical School, Ghana, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Harlem Hospital Center, New York, NY.

Dr. Ameyaw joined Geneva General Hospital in 2006.
