Members of the FLX Chamber and Unique Boards Charcuterie staff celebrate the new business opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the Finger Lakes region.

The Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce held a Member Milestone Celebration to feature an official ribbon-cutting event for Unique Boards Charcuterie on September 5.

Owned and operated by Melanie Secor, the business opened in 2021 as a hobby and was through online and phone sales before making the move to the new brick-and-mortar location that she recently moved into. Her new space is located at 495 Exchange Street in downtown Geneva and features all fresh items from local Farmers’ Markets when available and in season. Melanie’s creations also include lunch boxes to go, French macarons, and s’mores made on-site! Additionally, she offers locally made honey, jelly, and other in-store gifts for those who love charcuterie.

During the Chamber’s event, guests were able to tour the new facility and meet the owner, sample products, and gather for a group photo.

Member Milestone Celebrations are a benefit of Membership and a popular program that eligible businesses can take advantage of. Among others, the celebrations include anniversaries, grand openings, or relocation-based open houses.
