A sign for Habitat for Humanity of Seneca County stands in front of a newly constructed home, likely for a housewarming event.

A special ceremony will be held this morning as part of the “Its a Wonderful Life” Festival.

Seneca County Habitat for Humanity officials along with actors Karolyn Grimes and Jimmy Hawkins will be at 33 Taylor Avenue in Waterloo to welcome a family into a new home.

Like in the film “It’s A Wonderful Life”, they will repeat a scene from the movie.  “Bread, so that this house will never known hunger, salt, so “that life will always have flavor”, and wine, so “that joy and prosperity may reign forever”.

The ceremony is set for 10:30.
