Making his first start for the Wolves, junior Marcus Reed (Queens, N.Y. / Our Saviour Lutheran) was named Empire 8 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for his performance against SUNY Cobleskill last week.
Reed started the game 4-4 from three against the Fighting Tigers on his way to 22 points in the first half. He finished with 26 points in the game, the most of any Keuka College player this season. Reed finished with five three-pointers, also a season-high for the Wolves.
On the season, Reed has averaged 15.3 points over his first three games for the Green and Gold.
The Wolves return to action at home this Saturday as Keuka College hosts Bryant and Stratton – Syracuse at 2 p.m. at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center.
