Keuka’s Miller Named Women’s Soccer Sportswoman of the Year

Peyton Miller, a Keuka College women's soccer player, was named Sportswoman of the Year.

Keuka College Women’s Soccer senior Peyton Miller (Mercer, Pa. / Mercer) was selected as Keuka College’s representative for the Empire 8 Women’s Soccer Sportswoman of the Year.

The senior ranked second on the team with three goals and seven total points, both setting new career highs. All three goals came in games against Empire 8 competition. She was efficient with her attempts as well, scoring those three goals with just seven shots on goal for the season.

Over her four seasons, Miller scored six goals and added a pair of assists for the Green and Gold.

Miller was one of 12 from the conference honored. From the conference’s release, “The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that ‘Competing with Honor and Integrity’ is an essential component of a student-athlete’s experience in conjunction with an institution’s educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.”
