Keuka College first-year student-athlete Olivia Hatch (Elmira, N.Y. / Horseheads) finished in eighth place in the 2024 Empire 8 Women’s Golf Invitational.
Hatch led the Wolves, shooting a 23-over 95 on Friday. She finished second in the Rookie of the Meet standings and earned Second Team All-Conference status with her top-ten finish.
As a team, Keuka College finished in fifth place with a score of 435.
Kendall Shepherd (Bunker Hill, W. Va. / Musselman) shot a 106 to finish second on the team, 18th overall.
Another first-year, Kaelyn Rudd (Chittenango, N.Y. / Chittenango) slotted behind Shepherd on the team standings with a 116 in her first collegiate tournament. Lillian Taylor (Kendall, N.Y. / Kendall) and Kaylie Wilson (Elmira, N.Y. / Elmira) rounded out the Keuka College participants, finishing with 118 and 129, respectively.
The Wolves return to their home course on Tuesday as Keuka College hosts its annual fall invitational on Sept. 17 at Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan.
