Keuka College senior Shayla Vetter (Hilton, N.Y. / Hilton) scored in her final home game, but the Wolves fell to St. John Fisher University 3-1 on Saturday in an Empire 8 Conference game at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.

It was the fourth goal of the season for Vetter. Elianna Wilder (Victor, N.Y. / Victor) made 13 saves in goal for Keuka College (1-12-2, 0-8-2 Empire 8).

The Cardinals threatened early against the Wolves, but Elianna Wilder was there with a pair of big saves. However, a misplay by the Wolves would lead to a St. John Fisher goal in the 17th minute. The lead did not last long, however. Peyton Miller (Mercer, Pa. / Mercer) sprung Shayla Vetter in on goal. The senior split the defender and cut around the charging keeper before depositing the ball in the back of the net to make it 1-1. While the stats favored the Cardinals, the Wolves did a good job with possession and limiting the chances by St. John Fisher. The game would go to halftime tied 1-1.

Wilder continued to come up big for the Wolves making a pair of difficult saves to keep the game tied at one. The pressure by the Cardinals proved too much in the 81st minute as they took a 2-1 lead. Fisher doubled the lead minutes later as Wilder made the first save but the second shot was hit in. The Wolves had a chance late but the shot was deflected wide. Keuka College fell to St. John Fisher 3-1 on Saturday.
