Keuka Women’s Lacrosse Season Ends With Loss at Brockport

The Keuka College Women’s Lacrosse team lost at SUNY Brockport 15-1 in an Empire 8 Conference game to close their season.

Keuka College finished the year 4-10 overall and 1-8 in conference play.

Brooke Bonetti (Seneca Falls, N.Y. / Mynderse Academy) scored the lone goal for the Wolves. Lauren Vitello (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Schroeder) made eight stops in goal.

SUNY Brockport outscored the Wolves 7-0 in the first quarter and grew their run to nine goals before Bonetti scored for Keuka in the second quarter. The Golden Eagles then scored the final six goals of the game to defeat the Wolves.

Liz Spin (Auburn, N.Y. / Auburn) assisted on Bonetti’s goal. The goal by the senior marked the 100th point of her career in her final game.

With Vitello’s eight saves, she finished her sophomore season with 143 saves, second-most in a season in program history. She surpassed her season-high total by one save as Vitello stopped 142 shots last season.
