The Keuka College men’s golf team hosted its annual fall invitational on Wednesday at Lakeside Country Club, placing sixth overall in the eight-team field with a score of 337.
Senior Tyler Green (Sackets Harbor, N.Y. / Sackets Harbor) paced the Wolves, carding a nine-over 81 to tie for 11th in the 42-player field. The round matched his career-low at Keuka and marked his best 18-hole tournament score in three seasons.
Three other Wolves finished inside the top 20. Nick Knoth (New Paltz, N.Y. / New Paltz) tied for 13th with an 82, shaving multiple strokes off his previous best. Cam Hovater (Camillus, N.Y. / West Genesee) shot an 83 to tie for 15th, while Nathan Gillette (Big Flats, N.Y. / Horseheads) posted a 91 to tie for 31st.
Rounding out the lineup, Quinn Hansen (Oneonta, N.Y. / Oneonta) shot 92, Caleb Strade (Allegany, N.Y. / Allegany-Limestone) recorded 96 in his first collegiate event, Finnean Pouthier (Rochester, N.Y. / McQuaid Jesuit) posted 104, and Aiden Stewart (Canisteo, N.Y. / Canisteo-Greenwood) shot 113, also making his collegiate debut.

The Wolves return to action Sunday, October 5, at the Nazareth University Fall Invitational. The two-day tournament will be played at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor and Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford.
