The Keuka College Women’s Soccer team lost 5-0 at SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday night in an Empire 8 Conference game.

SUNY Geneseo jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead over Keuka College (1-8, 0-4 Empire 8) scoring in the fifth minute. The Wolves settled into the game and held the Knights off the board for the rest of the half. Their defense did a good job limiting opportunities as Geneseo had nine shots in the frame, but only the one on goal. The hosts led 1-0 at the break.

Out of halftime, SUNY Geneseo scored 2:58 into the second to double their lead. The Knights would add three more goals to defeat the Wolves 5-0 on Wednesday.

Elianna Wilder (Victor, N.Y. / Victor) made four saves in the match for the Wolves.

Keuka College remains on the road this weekend as they play at Hartwick College in an Empire 8 game on Saturday.
