The Keuka College softball team had five student-athletes earn Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators.

Olivia Flynn was recognized for the third time in her career, while Hailey Jasinski earned the honor for the second consecutive year. Katie Landers, Alexis Kopetchny, and Grace Eagen were all selected for the first time.

Flynn capped off an outstanding senior season both on the field and in the classroom. She pitched a career-high number of innings, earned third-team all-conference honors, and set the program record for career doubles while finishing fifth in school history in hits. Flynn graduated from Keuka College with a degree in nursing.

Jasinski served as one of the Wolves’ leaders and paced the team in most offensive categories. A three-time All-Empire 8 selection, she posted career highs with a .463 batting average and 44 hits. Those totals rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in program history for a single season. Jasinski is majoring in occupational therapy.

Landers made a significant impact in her second season with the Wolves. The infielder batted .330 and tied for second on the team with 31 hits. A psychology major, she has earned multiple Empire 8 President’s List selections during her time at Keuka.

Kopetchny contributed in a variety of roles, making starts at catcher, third base, and designated player. She hit a career-best .303 with 20 hits and earned her first Academic All-District honor. Kopetchny is majoring in adolescent mathematics education.

Eagen closed out her collegiate career with her first Academic All-District selection. The senior recorded a career-high 16 RBIs in her final season and graduated from Keuka College in May with a degree in psychology.

To qualify for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least sophomores, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and either compete in at least 90 percent of their team’s games or start at least two-thirds of them.
