LC New York is launching a pop-up “Fill a Bucket” sale on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th, offering shoppers 60% off anything they can fit into a five-gallon bucket — and the announcement came exclusively during Thursday morning’s FLX Morning Podcast.
Peter Semmel, who represents LC New York, stopped by to share details of the fan-favorite promotion. Shoppers purchase the bucket for $3.49 and then fill it with any eligible store merchandise at 60% off. Exclusions apply for clothing and items marked as final price. Semmel noted Saturday’s hours will be shortened, as the store will be closing early to attend the It’s a Wonderful Life Festival.
To illustrate the savings, Semmel brought in a few examples: a bottle of Vitamin C that retails for $13.99 drops to $5.60 with the bucket discount; a JBL Bluetooth speaker normally priced at $149.99 comes down to $60; and decorative curtain lights that retail at $98.99 can be had for $39.60. “You can easily fill that bucket up with several hundred dollars worth of stuff,” noted the show’s host.
Semmel also described how LC New York sources its merchandise — through contracts with major big-box retailers, receiving truckloads Monday through Friday with no advance knowledge of what will arrive. “It’s like Christmas every day,” he said, encouraging customers to follow the store on social media for updates on new arrivals. Recent deliveries have included a pallet of rock salt, a timely find given current winter weather conditions.
In addition to the bucket sale, LC New York is partnering with Finger Lakes Daily News on a holiday giveaway. Readers can register at fingerlakesdailynews.com. The prize package includes a futon, holiday throw pillows, a rug of the winner’s choice, and a 65-inch Samsung 4K/QLED television.
LC New York is located in the Waterloo/Seneca Falls area. Customers are encouraged to check the store’s social media pages for the latest inventory updates.
