Terra Sauve: Good morning. Good. How are you?
Paul Szmal: Doing great. Doing great. And we're coming off a business after hours mixture that was held just down the street from where we're sitting right now.
Terra Sauve: I know. Yeah. So Ronnie Cedar Inn hosted our March business after hours, so I just want to say thank you to them. I don't know. People might know the owner, Jeff Snyder, over there. He's awesome. And people got to meet him, kind of just see the location, and maybe they haven't been there before. So with our business after hours, we like to kind of spread it out with different people in different industries, and maybe people haven't been there before or kind of go behind the scenes. So we're really happy that they were able to host us.
Paul Szmal: Yeah. I always like Ronnie's because, to me, it's one of the best cheap lunches you can find in Geneva.
Terra Sauve: Yes. Their food is good, too.
Paul Szmal: Absolutely, it is. If people don't know what a business after hours mixture is all about, can you kind of give us a little description?
Terra Sauve: So we host monthly business after hour networking mixers. We kind of change the locations. Each member will kind of host throughout the year. The calendar is posted and put together a year in advance, so we have a one-year waiting list. But it's a chance for people to kind of meet the owners, meet the team of these different businesses that we work with, and then a chance for people to attend and network and kind of connect with other businesses throughout the Finger Lakes region. So we get together once a month, and then throughout the Finger Lakes, we like to go behind the scenes.
Paul Szmal: Is chamber membership required for a business after hours or no?
Terra Sauve: No, you can be a non-member. It's $10 for members to come, and then it's $20 for non-members to come. And we also sell season passes for our business after hours. So the season passes will get you into every mixer for the year, and then you get five guest passes included with that. And then this year, we added another benefit, is that you get one voucher to our Lunch and Learn program, too.
Paul Szmal: Oh, yeah. The Lunch and Learn program, I know, is a popular program. Speaking of business after hours, when's the next one?
Terra Sauve: So our April business after hours is going to be April 9th from 4 to 6 at the Geneva Public Library. We're really excited for them to host and just to see everything that they have to offer. They have so many amazing programs and events that they do. So we're really excited for this one. And bring an extra couple of dollars with you for that one, because the book sale is happening.
Paul Szmal: That's true. I saw that.
Terra Sauve: Yeah. Yeah. The book sale is running through April the 11th. I'll have some discounted and special deals going on in the final couple of days, and that happens to fall within the final couple of days of the sale.
Paul Szmal: Yeah. Well, I'm excited. Thanks for the reminder.
Terra Sauve: Yeah, absolutely. So the book sale is coming up on Wednesday, April the 9th. That'll run from 4 till 6 at the Geneva Public Library. Next item on the agenda that we wanted to talk about is a member milestone celebration. This is pretty cool.
Paul Szmal: Yes. Yeah. So we are kind of booked with member milestone celebrations coming up these next few months. We're excited. Fairfield by Marriott here in Geneva, they are hosting a reveal of their renovations. And this is going to be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 12 to 2. The photo op will be at 1 o'clock. So we're excited. It's almost their 10-year anniversary, and they've been doing all these renovations these last couple of months. So we're excited to see what it looks like.
Terra Sauve: Oh, that'll be fantastic.
Paul Szmal: Yeah. And then, of course, the Chamber Cup Golf Tournament is coming up on May the 21st. I know walking outside today may not feel like golfing weather, but pretty soon it'll be time to break the clubs up.
Terra Sauve: Yes, we're excited for this. Golf tournament Wednesday, May 21st. It's going to be held at Silver Creek Golf Course in Waterloo. So we're really excited about this. We are almost halfway full with teams already. This books out. So if you're interested in golfing and putting a team together, please reach out to us as soon as you can to secure your spots.

Terra Sauve: Yeah. So we're excited. Riley Earl Films. He is located in Penn Yan. He's a photographer and videographer and does a lot of drone work in the Finger Lakes area. And he will also be at our golf tournament if you are able to come and meet him.
We also have Isaac Heating and Air. They're located in Canandaigua, but they serve Ontario, Seneca, and Yates counties. The next one here is On Point Payment. It's a payment solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. Our contact is also located here in Geneva.
We also have Aquasource, which is located in Bloomfield. And they are all about water services. So installations, repairs, routine maintenance. So they're located in Bloomfield. The next one is Oasis Gutters. They are located in Manchester, but you might see some of their yard signs around Geneva here. So anything from installations, gutter cleaning, and leaf protection.
And then our last one is Edical Advisors, Timothy O'Dell. He's actually located in Syracuse, but he's around the Finger Lakes area. And he helps customers just find their financial strategies to help set what their goals are with financial needs. So we're excited to welcome this group of new members in and kind of have people meet them at different mixers or events that you might see them at.
Paul Szmal: And I think it's a growing trend now with chamber organizations that you're seeing more and more memberships that are not from the immediate area, but they may want to do business in the immediate area.
Terra Sauve: Exactly. So the surrounding areas. I mean, it's nice. Our office is located in downtown Geneva, but our customers are all throughout the Finger Lakes area.
Paul Szmal: Absolutely. And what are some of the benefits to becoming a member?
Terra Sauve: Yeah. So one of them is having a listing right on our website. So you will get your own listing. So if people are searching for a certain type of business, your listing will pop up on our website so people can learn about you there. And it's also about these networking mixers that if you're able to come to those and connect with other business leaders in the area. And then just helping. We help with promotional and marketing, advertising needs. So if you have an event coming up, a promotion, we will share that with our members throughout our website, our Facebook page, and even in our digital newsletter. So there's a lot of different marketing and promotional materials that we help with.

Terra Sauve: Yeah. So we have one space left. So this window display advertising program, we rent out our window space essentially in our downtown Geneva location. So if you don't have a downtown presence in Geneva, you can advertise right in our window. And it's been a huge program and people love it. So we do have one space available. And usually these are booked up for the year. So if you're interested in extra advertising, especially in downtown Geneva, then just reach out to us and you can find more information about some of our programs on our website as well.

So you're included in all of our major events and basically signed up for the year. So that includes our golf tournament. You get an on-course vendor booth with that. And then you'll be included in our membership harvest celebration, which is in September. You get passes to the mixers, and then you get extra advertising. So if you go onto our homepage, you'll see their logo there. They also are part of our window display program, Downtown Geneva. So overall, it's just an events and advertising bundle that's just extra and for the annual partnership.
Paul Szmal: And again, a couple of important events that we can recap here coming up in the month of March. The next business after hours mixer?
Terra Sauve: It's going to be April 9th from 4 to 6 at the Geneva Public Library. And again, that'll be during the Geneva Public Library's book sale as well.
Paul Szmal: And then the member milestone celebration?
Terra Sauve: Yep. So this is going to be Tuesday, April 22nd from 12 to 2. And that'll be at Fairfield by Marriott as they unveil some brand new renovations.
Paul Szmal: Are these renovations to the guest rooms or just the overall facility?
Terra Sauve: Overall. Yep.
