Valerie "Val" R. Robinson

Valerie R. Robinson was born July 4, 1942. She passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. Val raised a family of four along with animals with her loving high school sweetheart, Fred, in the town of Throop. Among other things, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, painting, and reading. She was an active member of the community as a lifetime member of Throop Fire Auxiliary and served as Throopsville Church Treasurer.

Deceased are her loving husband of 63 years, Frederick R. Robinson Sr. (March 20, 2025), Father Staff Sgt. John Warren (WWII 1945), Mother Betty Holman Cady & Glenn Cady, Brother Bruce Cady, and in-law parents Frederick & Martha Robinson.

Surviving children are Wendy (Marty) Goldman, Fred (Carrie & Bambi) Robinson, Vicki (Rick) Chase, and Martha (Cody) Robinson. Grandchildren include Rick Chase, Nick Chase, Julia (Will) Prinzi, and Fred Finewood. Siblings are Mary (Glenn) Ely, Jim (Samia) Cady, Bob (Deb) Cady, Lance Cady, Ralph (Robin) Cady, and Elaine (Kelly) Parnell. Siblings-in-law include Sue Robison, Monie (Ron) Benko, and Nancy (Gordan) Nickelson. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Arrangements by Pettigrass Funeral Home. Per her wishes, there will not be services. Please send donations in her memory to Throop Fire Auxiliary, 7159 Beech Tree Rd, Auburn.
