Timothy Jay Fetterman

Penn Yan - Timothy Jay Fetterman, age 79, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 1 p.m. at the Benton Cemetery. A celebration of Tim’s life will follow at 2 p.m. at the Penn Yan Moose Club.

Memorial contributions in Tim’s name can be made to the Humane Society of Yates County, P.O. Box 12, Penn Yan, NY 14527.

Tim was born on August 15, 1946, a son of the late Kenneth and Fanny (Cummings) Fetterman. He was employed by Ferro Corp for many years.

Tim is survived by his wife, Susan (Anderson) Fetterman; son, Christopher (Stacey) Fetterman; grandchildren, Jordan and Ethan Fetterman; sisters, Patti (Paul) Butler and Judy Hey; step-sisters, Joanne (Paul) Burnett and Mary Lou McDermont; brother-in-law, Kevin (Laura) Anderson; sister-in-law, Kelly (Barry) Hurlburt; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Tim was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Shannon Fetterman; and step-daughter, Deidra Anderson.
